Meet Mwt Het Heru BaktiBa
My journey has always been one of remembrance.
In 2020, I was initiated into Kemetic spirituality, and that initiation called me home to a truth my spirit already knew. Healing is not always about becoming someone new. Sometimes, healing is the sacred work of returning to yourself, releasing what you were never meant to carry, and remembering the power that has always lived within you.
I am Mwt Het Heru BaktiBa, founder of Nurturing Souls, Kemetic Priestess, RA Sekhi Kemetic Reiki Master Teacher, certified Death Doula, grief coach, and spiritual practitioner.
I walk as a Priestess of transitions, guiding souls through healing, grief, rebirth, spiritual awakening, and the sacred passage from this life into the next. My work is rooted in ancient Kemetic wisdom, ancestral connection, prayer, breathwork, energy healing, intuitive guidance, and sacred ceremony.
Through Kemetic Reiki, spiritual baths, Closing of the Bones ceremonies, plant medicine ceremonies, spiritual readings, grief support, and mentorship, I create sacred spaces where people can finally exhale. Spaces where you are safe enough to feel, release, soften, and be seen and spiritually held.
Many people find me after they have been strong for too long. They come carrying grief, anxiety, exhaustion, inherited pain, emotional heaviness, and the weight of survival. I do not believe they are broken. I believe their spirits are asking them to return home to themselves.
In 2024, I was honored as Reiki Healer of the Year. Yet my greatest honor is witnessing someone breathe differently after a session. Watching the heaviness begin to lift. Seeing a person reconnect with their body, their spirit, their ancestors, and the part of themselves they thought they had lost.
Nurturing Souls is more than a healing business. It is a sanctuary for transformation, remembrance, and return.

My mission is to create sacred spaces where people feel safe enough to breathe, release, heal, and return to themselves.
Through Nurturing Souls, I combine ancient Kemetic wisdom, ancestral connection, energy healing, grief support, and intentional ceremony to guide people through life’s most tender transitions. I serve those carrying emotional heaviness, inherited pain, grief, exhaustion, and the weight of being strong for too long.
I am devoted to helping people move beyond survival mode, reconnect with their bodies and spirits, and remember the power that has always lived within them.
Whether I am supporting the living, comforting the grieving, caring for the dying, or honoring the dead, my purpose remains the same: to serve with compassion, integrity, and sacred intention.
No one should have to carry everything alone. Everyone deserves to feel seen, held, and supported as they find their way home to themselves.
